Today I am featuring my apple popsicles. They have only one ingredient, which is apple juice.
These popsicles reminded me a lot of my mom’s recipe: the-healthiest-1-ingredient-popsicles.
So as you know……IT IS SEPTEMBER!!!!
Finally, fall has come and that means holidays are coming up, some of my favorite ones too. What better way to celebrate the end of hot weather (well, mostly, I live in Tucson😿) than delicious popsicles?
I have been watching a show called Dance Moms, which was a really big hit, though I have never heard of it. I found it on tubi. It is one of my favorite TV shows. It is about girls who love to dance, so they went to Abby Lee Dance Company, a hardcore dance studio, and their moms have fights with Abby, the girl’s dance instructor, and each other. I hope you will consider watching it cause if you do you, will be hooked!
The Story Behind It
My mom had just made her beef broccoli stir-fry, which is delicious, and she had some leftover apple juice I kept wanting to drink it, but I knew I shouldn’t, and this was the reason. One day I thought I should make some quick and easy snacks so I decided to look in the fridge to see what I could find. Then, I saw the apple juice, and what better idea than to freeze them?
Invention of Popsicles
The first popsicles were accidentally made in 1905 by an 11-year-old boy named Frank Epperson. He had left a cup of soda he’d mixed up with a stirring stick outside on a cold winter night. Little did he know that his soda was about to turn into a masterpiece!
When he discovered it the next day, that stick was embedded in what turned out to be a tasty frozen treat, and popsicles were born!
Epperson began selling them in his neighborhood in seven different flavors for five cents each, eventually expanding his creation to an amusement park.
